With the new CaixaBank NowPay app for Android you can manage all your CaixaBank cards (debit and credit) and control all your operations. You can also pay for your purchases comfortably with your mobile in a simple, fast and 100% secure way in any establishment with NFC contactless payment. And, in addition, you can send or request money between individuals with a single click.
What you need to start making purchases with your mobile:
- Your mobile: an Android smartphone, version 4.4 or later, with contactless technology (NFC).
- The NowPay app: download and install it on your device.
- Your card on your mobile: from the app you can download your cards for free.
How mobile payment works:
1. Log in with the same access data that you use in CaixaBankNow
2. Select the card you want to download to your mobile.
3. Hold the mobile close to the POS until you hear the confirmation “beep†sound.
4. Enter the PIN if the purchase amount is greater than €20.
5. That's it: payment made!
Important: to pay, the mobile screen must be lit.
