With the Wandelknooppunt app you can explore all hiking nodes networks in Flanders, East Belgium, Pays des Collines and the border area with the Netherlands. CONVENIENT WALKING ROUTE PLANNER
You can view all walking nodes on a map and map out a tailor-made walking tour for each node. It can also be done faster: via the handy Surprise Me function you can choose a specific walking junction and have the app calculate a route with a distance of your choice. In addition, you can save all the hiking routes you have drawn so that you can reuse them later.

IMPORT WALKING ROUTES
You can also map out walking tours behind your PC using our handy online route planner at Wandelknooppunt.be. You can generate a QR code for each route there. You can scan this code using the app, after which the route will be sent to your smartphone.

SUGGESTION ROUTES
You will also find more than 500 suggested routes in the app. These are routes that we compile ourselves or routes that are offered by our partners Tourism Flemish Brabant, Tourism Province of Antwerp and Tourism East Flanders.

For the price of 9.99 euros per year you can also take out a subscription in the app. As a subscriber you get access to many extra functions (+):

You will no longer see ads at the bottom of the app.

NAVIGATION MODE (+)
With our handy navigation mode you can follow any walking route with the GPS function of your smartphone. The app will guide you along the route and will warn you if you deviate from the route. If you follow a route along walking nodes, a vote will also tell you at each node what the next node is.

ROUTEPLANNER PRO (+)
As a subscriber you have access to our Routeplanner Pro on Wandelknooppunt.be. There you can plan routes freely, even in places where there are no hiking nodes. On a map you choose where you want to walk (throughout Europe). You can also import these free routes into the app so that you can follow them in navigation mode.

OFFLINE MAPS (+)
You can download any walking route at home in advance. Then you can follow the route offline, which saves you mobile data during your walk.

HEIGHT PROFILES (+)
You can request a height profile for each walking route so that you can assess the intensity of your walk in advance.

REGISTER WHERE YOU WALK (+)
For each route between 2 hiking nodes you can indicate whether you have already hiked there. This is visually displayed on the map so that you always have an overview of where you have already walked. In navigation mode, the app automatically registers which sections of the hiking network you are walking. This way you can always plan the most beautiful routes along routes where you have never been before.

ATTENTION: you can take out a subscription in the app under 'Subscribe' for 1 year for the price of 9.99 euros. The payment for a subscription is handled with your Google Play Account. Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the expiration date of your subscription. You can manage your subscription yourself, and the automatic renewal can also be stopped by going to your Google Play Account Settings after purchase.
